History
History is the study of life of society in the past, in the all aspect, in the relation to present development and future hopes. It is the story of man in time, an inquiry into the past based on evidence. Indeed, evidence is the raw material of history teaching and learning.
Herodotus, a 5th-century BC Greek historian, is often considered the "father of history", as one of the first historians in the Western tradition, though he has been criticized as the "father of lies".

- Letters.
- Diaries.
- Newspaper reports.
- Original photographs.
- Recordings or transcripts of speeches.
- Plays.
- Paintings.
- Oral histories.
What is a primary source?
A primary source is one that provides original information on an event, topic, or era from that period in time. Crucially, the information has to be first-hand. That means it was produced by a person who experienced that event, topic, or era themselves. Examples of primary sources are:
